Cookery Part 2 - Course Outline

Cookery classes take place once a week for 6 weeks from 8.30 am to 1 pm. This course follows on directly from Cookery Part 1. Please bring an overall, apron & head covering. Super Domestic aprons – optional extra.

An outline of the Cookery Part 2 course is as follows:

Week 1

Biscuits.
Crumpets.
Quiche.
Fish cakes.

Week 2

Jiffy pudding.
Mince/bolognaise sauce.
Cottage pie.
Lasagne.
Macaroni cheese.
White sauce & cheese sauce.
Broccoli & cauliflower.

Week 3

Tuna lasagne.
Risotto.
Ratatouille.
Three bean salad.
Banana fritters.

 

Week 4

Citrus delight.
Rice pudding.
Crustless savoury tart.
Chicken à la king.
Hamburger patties/rissoles.
Baked potatoes.

Week 5

Wholewheat pecan nut loaf.
Cheesy mealie bread.
Corn chowder.
Butternut soup.
Tomato soup.

Week 6

Paté.
Chocolate pudding.
Stuffed eggs.
Menu planning.
